Saturday morning came with a frost but the sun shone and Ivan started on the stallion stables.

Sunday and another beautiful day, Ivan and his “helpers” continue to work on the stallion stables.

Ivan has worked so hard this week to get the stables built.
More photographs tomorrow as he has worked until its dark!!

No sun today and
Ivan is back at work but his helpers have turned up. I am sure they will find
some mischief
to get up to!

Ivan came home from work on Monday and worked with lights on, so pictures taken Tuesday morning of the new roof

Tuesday night and the
last of the fencing is delivered,
again in the dark!

So photographs taken Wednesday morning.

Thursday and the work begins on the new stable, the trucks and digger arrive.

Monday
Ivan has started to put the roof on the
stallion stables but the wind has been
too strong to finish it.


Tuesday
It continues to rain and be windy but the
men are still working on the foundations
for the round house.


Wednesday
It rained last night but as you can see
this morning, Ivan worked with lights
and managed to get all but two of
the roof sheets on !

Friday and the walls are in, ready for the concrete base,
which should go in on
Monday weather permitting!

Ivan finished putting the roof on and we have spent the weekend painting wood and putting up the boundary fence.

Monday, the wind and rain seemed
to have stopped for today at least and the mares and foals are enjoying themselves in their new paddock .
The work continues on the round house and if the weather holds we may get the concrete base in today.
