National Stallion Show in Holland
Sorry no photographs the camera died!
We both had a wonderful weekend, seeing the show and meeting old and new friends from Holland,
Denmark, England, Scotland, Shetland, Norway, Sweden and Poland.
The hospitality of our hosts was second to none and every one had a memorable weekend.
Which I for one look forward to repeating next year!
Desværre gik kameraet I stykker.
Men vi havde en fantastisk weekend med hingstekåring. Vi så en masse veltrænede og flot klargjorte ponyer og ikke mindst mødte venner fra Holland,
Denmark, England, Scotland, Shetland, Norway, Sweden and Poland.
Vi vil sige tak til vore værter fra Holland for deres gæstfrihed som gjore at vi havde en uforglemmelig weekend
vi ser frem til at gentage næste år.

I feel I must say a few lines about the Stallion Show in Holland in January 2008.
As an “Englishman” now living in Denmark, I visited the show for the first time with my husband and was present
on Saturday night when many speeches were made by different countries,
Dougal Dick made a speech,
which he made very clear from the start were his own feelings and that he was not speaking on behalf of
anyone else. Anyone who has reported this in anyway differently was in my belief either NOT at the dinner
or has difficulty translating English.
In a democratic world it is a shame that the Mother Stud books President, was not given all the facts,
before it was necessary for him to respond to a few people’s incorrect reports on a speech.

Hingstekåring / Stallion Assessment 2008
Thank you to Karina Madsen for producing the boys, an excellent job again and we are thrilled with the results
Our “old boy” Lonsdale Nutcracker pulled out all the stops, coming 2nd to Stutteri Nørvang’s black
standard stallion Wells Dominator in the Veteran class with 42 points.
He went forward to the medium Championship and won !
Clivocast Nelson and Lille Rosendals Miklas both entered in the 2 year old class passed
and now have AG licences for the next two seasons,
Hestigarth Tempest in a class of 8 came 7th and was given a 2KL A licence with 38 points.

International Show Germany
With too much work on at the new house we decided to not take the ponies to Germany
but worked hard and gave ourselves Sunday off. So a 3am start saw us at the show ground
just in time for the first class in the Championships and Denmark was very well represented.
Congratulations to all who got to the finals !
A very special Congratulations to Tina Sørensen and Bergeruds Playboy, for their fantastic result.
Reserve Overall Champion
The Danish supporters were in good voice, it was fantastic!
